PROJECT POTPOURRI
Pragya Bhargava, Sally Stenton, Svetalana Atlavina
In 2023 Project Potpourri reached out to other Artist Collectives around the world to contribute to an online publication. The aim was to illuminate vital artist led activity that is often below the institutional radar and celebrate
the diversity of collective art practices. The project explored what it means to be a Collective, why collectives form, how they operate and the significance of collective practices in these current times.
Collectives posed questions to each other, sparking conversations across the globe. It led to the publication of the e-book entitled
ARTIST COLLECTIVES: CONVERSATIONS, METHODS AND PRACTICES
25 collectives took part including Turner Prize winners, Array Collective.
Pragya Bhargava, Svetlana Atlavina and Sally Stenton facilitated the process with support from their parent collective- Experimental Space Collective [esc] and from Dr John Wright, lecturer at Leeds University.
